Finally, you know we are all passionate about recycling over here so we have included some handy tips for keeping on top of recycling at home over the festive season…

Tips for recycling at home over the festive season

We know that recycling can seem like a hassle, but it's essential to keep on top of it during the holidays. Not only does it help reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, but it also helps conserve valuable resources. So before you throw out those holiday wrappings, be sure to check if they can be recycled, and follow our top tips:

  • Make sure all wrapping paper, ribbons, and bows are clean and dry before putting them in the recycling bin.
  • Avoid using foil wrappers or gift bags, as these cannot be recycled.
  • If you're throwing a holiday party, make sure to put out recycling bins for your guests.
  • Be sure to recycle any empty bottles or cans from holiday parties or gatherings.
  • In general, try to avoid excessive packaging when buying gifts. Opt for recyclable gift wrap or reusable gift bags instead.

We look forward to working with you again in 2023!
